I got the crane #18 in mine retarded 4 degrees...12.1:1 Comp. Eagle rods, JE Pistons. engine sounds soooo nice...lopes at idle the same way a muscle car does. It is an extreme cam. I suggest putting at least a stage 3 clutch in the car...will make a huge difference in getting power to the ground.

as far as cams depends what your doing with the car if its just a toy that you drive on the once and a while to play with then go big... it will really put that 12:1 compression to use but if you daily drive it your not gonna want that big of a cam your gonna want something that still has a smooth idle...

I got a Fidanza Adj. Cam gear. need the crane valve springs, and I do have an upgraded PCM. I got a 95 SOHC so it's the same thing as urs.

for a DD, 12:1 ain't really what you want. easy to overheat, and you are going to need premium due to predetonation.

there's no such thing as predetonation.

well i figured that lol just saying if he was going to daily drive it...yeah 12:1 is deff getting close to race only around here we only get the watered down 91 octane so running 12:1 even on premium is almost out of the question without at least water/methenol injection setup to cool the charge... It can be done with a very very good tune but i deff wouldn't risk it...
