My speedometer is not working. I did the FAQ section and re-sodder the pins in the diagram. Now it doesn't work at all. Any ideas. I even bent the pins.
Where can I get a new card if necessary? What is the price? new or old
Will a junk yard off a used Neon work?

did your speedometer work before you sodered?

 

No well only sometimes. The other lights and gauges worked. Now none of it is working.

 

solder it again and add a bit of solder. Do not use one of those cheap cool to the touch soldering irons.

 

you could possibly just have a bad speedometer cable...

 

i dont think there is a speedometer cable on these cars its all electronic..and if it completely crapped out go to a picknpull they have them for 35 bucks or try a local junkyard

 

i wasnt sure but yah a new cluster isnt to bad if you cant find any at your junk yard check ebay i have a stock one without the tach if your interested i changed over to a r/t cluster

I would be interested in the cluster. I don't need a tach gauge. I did not find anything on ebay. How can we get together on price and shipping?

I will try to email you. I have re solder this 3 times. Think circuit board is bad.

give it a lil "love tap" on top of the dash and it shuld work again LOL mine did this all the time
