im bored, lets have drama, time to bash hondas again!

i need boost, the header swap - converter delete didn't do squat. a VTEC would kick my ***, and that pisses me off. If I had a manual, maybe not so..

that auto is deff holding you back man... it makes the dohc engine a pooch... lol i wish i had the mods you do on my dohc 5spd... would be one fun lil ride but I'm slowly working on making it faster... hey forgot to ask do you have an underdrive pulley? for some reason they seem to make bigger differences on autos cars then manual cars.. just trying to things to help ya out... how about TB.. the 60mm TB from modern would probably help a fair amount also... and i know your thinking about the Afx pcm.. that would deff help that motor take the most advantage of the mods you have... and i guess if those things don't work i guess its time for a 5spd swap lol...

its funny, the only cars at the j-yard were dohc autos, only saw one sohc and of course no manuals. Yeah, no overdrive yet or throttle body. If I were to do the bolt on quest to power I would def do the TB and pulleys, but I want turbo. I can't afford an SRT4, it aint gonna happen, but maybe I can afford the heart of an SRT4. I am going to attempt megasquirt II for the next mod. I like the idea of the Afx pcm, but when I go turbo, I wont need that extra timing

They work, but you either have to hook up a toggle switch to activate the lockup torque converter or install a tranny cooler.

but an ecu still isn't going to change your shift points....your either going to have to shift it manually which shouldn't be any issue seen as you do have a shift kit in the tranny already... stock trannys can only take so much manual shifting before they get really hot and start to burn things up... an aftermarket tranny cooler is always a wise investment and a trans temp gauge also a wise investment.... you can make an auto fast it just take more work lol but these are things your still going to have to address once you go turbo also...
