i like moy good old domestic dodge neon man! this thing so so f$ucking fast. its a quik little car i left dust to those poor hondas a couple hooked up ones that i smoked them. oh man it was fun! i also was racing a corvette not the z06 but the stock with and exhaust i sounded like,and i burnt him up its was crazy i realy want ot hit hte track up and see my e.t. im curous i got the hahns turbo kit with electronic boost apexi acv-r to control boost with throttle postion rpm and speed. i got the comp cam hr high energy cam 259 with adjustible pully 1.7 degree retarded. hd springs, underdrive pully. fully built tranny automaitce 3 speed slap shifter with manual vlave body and 3200 stall converter, i got plx r500 with all the goodies it does it a data logger of 4 anagal inputs and knock hook up and output and wideband afr with output liniar wideband for standlone systems and anrrow band output so u can replace you sensor with teh wide band and give it a hook up. i got 5 inch tach sift light and boost gauge battery in the trunk that is what is in it right now i also have nx system in there with nitrous max 2 progessor controler hi tech with all teh fetures u can think of use it on pc with logger blah blah. i havent used it kuz the neon is so quk already !!! oh and i got oil cooler. at hte molement im building a short block with venolia pistons gas prot and total seal rings on the second ring kuz i got gas ports on the top 8.5 to 1 wit a long rod setup im thinknig of the strongest rod i can buy but cant figure it out any ideas for over 650 i wold say

I was able to stay door to door w/ the same kinda vette w/o turbo.

yeah, 07 Corvette C6. I live 5 miles from the largest Corvette Dealership in the Southeast. Get a chance to race them all the time. There's a good 100 HP difference between the C6 and Z06. door to door, then I run out of gearing...need a 6th, 7th, and 8th to keep the pace past 130

wow lol.. guess you have alot of work done when i had my 95 i used to try to race them and my car was stock but i would get my doors blown in lol..

a corvette z06 put up a pretty good fight against my old red r/t.....that was pretty cool..until i hit the speed limiter

that seems to be my problem too...car don't run out of umph, just runs out of gears.

it was deffently a vette there slow 13 second et. my neon runs out of gearing tho real quik lol i think 140 was top speed

I love the way the sports look too, my wife was driven mine today, and I was like damn thats nice, purple and all. To think you pay all that for GM junk and get pawned by a turbo neon!

Wouldnt take alot of work either, strap on an srt4 turbo and crane cams, right Spud???
