I don't need to know about vtech, start a new thread and call it 'honda love', or 'fondle my vtech' if you want controversy, this thread says gotta love your neon.
the worst part of this comment is that civics are more american built the neons are... and the fact is from 1999 till 2007 dodge wasn't even american... same thing for most "jap" cars.... camry, altima, accord all built and full assembled in the USA... so you can't say your buying american cause even buying honda, toyota and nissan your still buying american cars just cause the main offices are in japan don't mean much cause they all have main offices for their US branches also... which is why until recently we didn't always get the same cars as they got in other parts of the world... no different then the old diamlerchrysler deal...

So Altima, if you love VTEC, start a thread on loving VTEC.

Far as I'm concerned, when I go buy the new Taurus SHO, I know that Ford employees are getting paid. Assembled here means nothing if the ones profiting are overseas.

I was gonna chill on this, but today I am not in the right mood 4 dumb *** statements

WTF, I dont care if the car was built in Mexico, if it supports jobs in the states then so be it. But its punks buying this import stuff that keeps jobs forming overseas, keeping their businesses wealthy and depleting jobs and work in the states. I am going to support the big three not jus because I am proud to be an american, but to support our working class

Alright so I gonna take break before I get my account deleted

You've quoted me twice now altima, that last statement was meant for you!

what motor will the new SHO have in it?
only reason i ask is due to the old SHO's having yamaha motors in them....

i have thought many times about buying a civic in the past....not for a tuner, but for gas milage and low maitnance

what i think is funny is how every time sumone bitches about "jap" cars, subaru is always left out

I don't love vtec it has its advantages though... hence why just about every company now uses something that has the same affect... but the statement that just cause your buying from a company that is based in the usa doesn't make a difference anymore... no matter what if i went and bought a new nissan altima there is a whole lot of people in the usa that are gonna get paid cause i bought that car... if i went and bought a dodge that was built in mexico all thats supporting are the people in mexico that are making that car... all the us automakers have more of their vehicles made outside the us.. thats the way it is... go ahead buy the new sho... if and when it comes out... if it makes you happy to buy domestic go ahead... i love my neon and i love my truck both domestic although my truck was actually built in the us.... as far as i'm concerned it really doesn't matter where the car is assembled they all help support jobs in the us... if not for the assembly at least for the parts going into the car...

the new SHO is a twin turbo 3.5L ford engine with AWD. Its no longer made by Yahama, but even when it was it put down 220 HP au natural. Yeah, engines made by Mazda, ford buys out mazda so now mazda is ford. Get it? I'm still helping my country's economy, and pushing past the EVO's while hauling my family. Buy a Honda, take jobs from the US. Thats my belief, carve it in my tombstone when I die.

Wanna try talking about something else? Or did my 'Jap Crap' statement ruffle too many feathers out there? I'm just a 27 year old Ford-Dodge die hard, my statement stands.

ok so you supposedly by a car made here...what about everything else you buy...tv's, game consoles, computers... the argument is irrelevant...there is always gonna be someone out there taking a job from someone...the topic got taken off loving a neon to people hating vtecs and defending them which i own both a neon and a civic and like both of them..then it got taken to whats made in the US whats it matter buying a car from the US...hello look at WALMART! never ending so talk about "jap" stuff is childish and ridiculous...

i buy usa whenever possible, but as you said, theres very little still made in the US, thats why jobs are scarse over here. Michigan is practically a graveyard with jobs out sourcing (another thing I hate) and selling out. I can tell you that when I buy the SHO, that will helping. Some help is better than no help. So..

Yes! Back to gotta love your neon!

1) Mostly American made
2) 150 HP DOHC in a 2600 lbs chasis
3) Parts readily available (from china, lol)
4) Sporty good looks with plenty of options
5) Sold millions which helped out the working class and supported Dodge at the same time

In the end, all I can say (which I hope for this thread's sake is the last thing I say) that you have helped your fellow american patriot out by buying a Dodge. Now go to walmart and make china wealthy! lol

We got a Woo-Mart over here in GA. I think it's what wal-mart looks like in china. Weird things and doorknobs. a whole isle dedicated to one style doorknob.
