Default oil cooler?

im wanting to put an aftermarket oil cooler on my car for the hell of it and i just bought the parts to T a line from the oil pressure sender sensor. i have two questions: one would a oil cooler sandwhich adaptor be better to use than to tap into the sensor? two: can i just run the oil return line into the top of the valve cover somehow wether i drill a hole or go through the oil fill cap? im just trying to get out of dropping the oil pan and drilling and tapping a hole.

No, dont put it into ur valve cover. If your going to do it, do it right. Oil is nothing to play with. To much or to little can cause you major problem.

the oil filter sandwhich adapter is the best way to go.... both you feed and return lines go to that then nice and easy

ok ill prolly end up using a sandwhich. but does the sandwhich method just basically tap into the oil and send some of it through the oil cooler like it would if i used the pressure sensor way or does all the oil go through the oil cooler as a main line then go back.

if the adapter is setup all of the oil should go through the cooler...

Um, why? I see no reason to introduce a failure prone piece of chinese sweatshop brazing into a system that will ruin your engine if it fails...

first off the port where the oil pressure switch is don't see all the oil... and its a very small port so your cooler is pretty much going to do nothing... then like nate said your just gonna add a spot thats most likely gonna fail.... don't be cheap spend the lil bit of money and buy the sandwich adapter don't rig something up when you can very easily do it right...
