Synthetic gear lubricant for manual trans?
I finally got a response back from the dealer - he says that most of the race teams running Neons are using Red Line MTS in there cars
I have not tried Red Line - but I guess it is something I can try this weekend.

If your neon call for ATF+4 do not use redline or what ever. Amsoil has an ATF+4 and that would be good. But they are now using a fibre clutching in the synchros that will not be lubed properly with gear oils. Friends neon trans died in about 10K miles with redline in his gearbox. Redline being the culprit. Snchros were fried. These were later models but just in case.
