Default Problem With Electrical...

hi guys.... my neon is steady beeping noise from fuse box..and a warning light on cluster....when i got the interior fuse in under the hood.

the noise stops when i turn on the dome light from the switch....but then goes back on when i shut light off.....

i thought it was something to do with the things that tell when the doors are open...so i literally too pliers and broke them off their wires...(i got a little frustrated)

when i press the dome light up against the roof, it blows my interior fuse. it sucks cause without this fuse my radio doesnt work either.

does anyone got any suggestions at all?...atm i got the interior fuse pulled and it doesnt show any warnings...... any help appreciated, thxs ,shawn

sound to me like your dome light may be shorting out but if that was the case you would think the bulb would blow pull that off and check the wires behind the light and make sure they are not touchin the roof

I believe you have to replace either of the relays under the dash(incar fusebox) and it should go away.

what light on the cluster are you talking about?

When you said that you press the light to the roof and the fuse blows ,it's a common indicator that you have a short circit in that area.

the green one.... the one on the bottom left in the fuse box by the door...seems when u touch it you can feel it vibrating.....

yes, the hazard light on the cluster goes on when it does it...but when the interior fuse under the hood is pulled its all good..but of course dome and radio doesnt work.

back i think i got it fixed...for now anyhow... i put a spacer between the roof and dome light so you can push up on it and make wires touch..and i taped up the wires going to the light...

as far as the beeping.. it wass thae green relay( which says on the fuse panel that it is lamp relay.).. so i ended up just pulling it out..and it solved my problems...

im going to guess that the relay was messing up cause i literally tore the door switches out and left bare wires..

so now i fianlly got the light and radio going. thanks everyone for your time.
