Has anyone installed Dynamat in their ride?
I was watchin' Overhaulin' last night and saw that they use A LOT of Dynamat in their rebuilds.
Has anyone taken the time to put some in their 1st gen Neon?
If you have, I have some questions:
1) Where all did you put it? Doors? Trunk? Floorboard? Headliner? Firewall?
2) I know that you buy it in rolls, cut it to fit, and glue it down. How many rolls did it take and basically how much?
I have a 4 door, SOHC 1995 neon and am interested in possibly reducing some of the road noise and wonder if this is a good inexpensive way to do it. If you have ideas other then Dynamat, let me know and what price you paid.

1. you can put it everywhere.
2. it depends on what your doing. trunk kit is about $100

you can put it anywhere you feel like it... the more places you put it the quieter it will be but it also adds weight.... and its not very light... if you cover the whole inside of your car and trunk your talking probably close to 75lbs at least... it adds up fast...
u do not glue it down either, it is like a tar paper, u have to roll it on with a roller, and a heat gun, the stuff that i used workes great... but it gets expensive very fast...
helpfull hint, do it on a good 90 degree day and let the car bake in the sun, so it adhears really well
