Default 1995 pcm

What are the options when faced with the problem of replacing a 1995 PCM. The car is sohc and has a mtx. Will the pcm from a sohc 1995 auto work? Will other years / combinations work?

Thanks
cat

you can only use another PCM from a 95. I believe the ATX PCM will work but will throw a code since there's no torque converter.

some people have had some funky redline issues with the auto pcm on a manual car... if you got the cash i would suggest springing for the mopar performance pcm deff worth the upgrade...

That's because the REV limiter is lower on the ATX PCM.

I concur with the above statement.

I knew that was true with the dohc but wasn't sure why people with atx pcm for a sohc on a sohc with a mtx had issues but that would explain why lol... its been a long long time since i've done anything with an atx neon that i couldn't remember the exact issue...

Ghost,

What is your price? I too may be in the market for a 1995 mtx pcm as I am not getting fire to my coil pack and have ran through a series of checks to find out why to no avail - so I may be looking to get one.
