ok i,
a.) take my sohc rering it put my spare 02 r/t cam in it and turbo it with my turbo kit.
or i,
b.)take sohc rering it and put my dohc from my 98 dohc sport donor and turbo it with my turbo kit.

now i know dohc usually more power but i just want thought from people like you/us know mechs with a lil experience so with that being said A or B

 

are you asking if you should go sohc or dohc?

if this is, dont sohc bottom/dohc top have better compression? why not do that

 

yeah they do but ive heard i should do sohc turbo jus wantin thought and i agree with you i like the idea of dohc but want to be different with sohc

 

sohc bottom and dohc top end will give you better compression. Kinda like when I swaped my gf8 subaru wagon for a full wrx drivetrain. I didnt want the 2.0 head so I went with a 2.5 head for better compression

 

i do agree ive done a lil thinkin over the weekend and im doin the dohc with turbo seeins im only running 8psi i wont have to worry and i already have a manifold for dohc

 

if you dont mind, could you take pictures of the whole process, im a more of an see an example kinda of guy

 

alright i certainly will but im not doin it till i get a piggy back an afc and a few other thing i do things right the first time instead of tryin to hurry but when i do i will certainly have a how to thread

 

sohc block/pistons and a dohc head will drop your compression

 

yeah thats my plan my sohc cam bottom end and throw my dohc head on it...now will the 420a manifold for an eclipse work with my dohc head?
