Default Shift limits?

dies anyone know whats the best shift limits for the neons? i just got a shift light and i wanted to set it to that limit or whats the best shift points?

SOHC or DOHC? stock PCM or Mopar/AF/x PCM?

not to hijack this thread.... iam curious too about this, i got a 98 sohc all stock. five speed of course...

have you done any mods? otherwise i wouldnt be running your car that hard man.

SOHC's are limited to 6750 (OEM PCM)

DOHC MTX's are at 7250
DOHC ATX's are at 6750.

well on a sohc (my car stock) i shifted at 6700,

anyone have a tach for sale? i can never find one that will work with a twin coil (ie one side for 1,3 and the other for 2,4.

True. Even with a few mods, revving to the rev limit is a waste. Powerband > rev limit.

some times its not!, i got some mods on my sohc and i change the pcm to get 6800rpm, cuz with the sohc pcm that hit the rev limiter and i got 100 rpm of power!
