nope thoughs are fine but i changed my fuel filter and that seemed to solve my lack of power but i realized my car doesnt down shift into a higher gear when i floor it it always seems to shift around 3k rpm and then ill go to accelerate and it never down shifts. any clue on that? maby tranny sensor?

I had something like this issue before, the car sat for awhile and something with the kick down cable was jacked up. I got on it a few times and it kinda solved itself. you may just need to lube and adjust the cable though.

yeah my car was sitting for around 5 years so... lol that might be it but where is that located?

Easy free check for the EGR valve. Disconnect vacuum tube and plug it up. If car runs better you may need to replace the EGR valve

i did that and it made it have a little more power and it downshifts but still doesnt go into a passing gear and it makes a really weird grinding noise when i turn left and driving only and it seems to get higher along with the rpms. I have no idea im about to give up on this car lol and also will it mess up my tranny if i shift with the 1 and 2 and not drive all the time? because thats the only way i really get power

check the oil and do a compression test. should be around 180 - 190 psi per cyclinder.
