what do consider a performance muffler.. a fart pipe really aint to performance.. a full catback with muffler yes... a longtube header would be my next thing.. underdrive pulleys afx race ecu .. pick somthing and go.. go to howell automotive or moderperformance and take a look. i suggest moder over howell.

cut off your cat and get a 3.94 5 speed trans out of a fellow dohc neon you staying all motor? or lookin to turbo? if all motor underdrive and overdrive pulleys for sure do a msd coil and wires also and put a gates timing belt so you dont have to worry about buying a new head

the cans are ok but going with a whole system cat back would be good.. a hollowed cat wont gain you much a underdrive pulley is really only needed.. and msd coil is the same as stock.. a screaming demon coil from howellautomotive is the best coil.. wires acell msd never fit rights.. and the 3.94s cam in more the dohc.. in r/t has the 3.94 as does the acr... and some highlines.. alot of cars ordered with the sohc got a free upgrade to the dohc do to a shortage of the sohc.... and as long as the timing belt is replaced you dont have to buy a gates belt.. ur not gonna gain any performance by getting one.
