Default Sohc mods? Ne body

IM looking to buy some mods for my sohc 96 neon. I was wondering if ne of my fellow 1st gen fanboys might be able to help me out. Im looking for a header(short tube), sohc cam,#10 maybe, udp, 55mm tb?. I already have the 52 tb from an atx, I also have a 3.o cai, mopar pcu, msd coil and wires. ngk iridium plugs, fidanza adjust cam gear. any other reccomendations would be greatly apprediated, seeking all motor n/a, most hp I can get with some more bolt ons this year, new head and indy intake next year. Help a 1st gen fanboy out, will ya? thanks

stay away from the indy manifold... unless bossted not worth it.. check around for the intake called the getto blaster for a sohcammer... crane 14 is the cam i would go with or try a magnum cam from a 2002r/t magnum motor..header wise youll see a gain with any short tube but if you want the most go with a long tube header and magnaflow cat in 2.5 then 2.5 exhaust all the way back. udp go to modernperformance for the pulley and tb....

You can use a Magnum cam from any second gen R/T but you should get the Magnum springs as well. The 01 is the most aggressive.

If you can't go long tube header because of emissions problems or don't want to relocate your cat, the Pacesetter header has shown the most HP gains on the SOHC.

Get a nice high flow muffler, you don't need to upgrade your exhaust piping unless you are going turbo with it. The stock 2.25" tubing flows very nicely, but is dampened by the crappy "SOHC" muffler. You can swap on a "DOHC" muffler for a nice cheap gain.

Be sure to switch in your odometer to keep the mileage correct.

An adjustable cam gear provides greater output through tuning on a dyno. Not a bolt and go part. Btw, tuning > all/any mods

Nope, the 01 is more aggressive. It has a little more lift, and the 02+ has slightly more duration.
