Default i need help! mufflers an mods

ok i just bought a 95 plymouth neon last week. its in really good condition and i was lookin to buy a decent CAI. im not all sure as to wat kind to look for an what style cuz im not sure where the piping would go. so if someone could help me out. and i need to get a new muffler and i would like to make it sound agreesive. ive heard magnaflows sound good on neons. any suggestions as to what kind of muffler? and if its a straight muffler like the one here

how would i go about putting that on? some one give me some info please ha. i just want a agreesive kinda low sound.

ok. now i hear i could put a short ram intake in too. which would be better? and wat about the muffler situation? which would u recommend?

Iceman is the best (but you will have to find one used as they are no longer in production), then the DIY 3.0L intake ard Kirk Intake would follow.

ok if i were to put a 3a racing muffler on would i have to cut some of the pipe to make it straight? or what would i have to do to install it

3a racing? its a fart can man i hope your not payin over 20 dollars for that thing. look on ebay for the muffler and the cai they will get the job done since it sound like your not going for all out performance

you weld em on or clamp it. Do you have tool of your own? If so I would say do this all your self and learn something. what's the goal of your car? Are you building it up to be a nice daily driver? Or do you want a neon with a little power? As for your muffler you should have it welded on. A local exhaust shop shouldn't charge much for that. Call around.
