CC is not working and I swaped the piece under the hood with the cable on it from another car that I know the CC worked on. what else should I look at becides the fuses, buttons, and the cable thing that hooks to a vaccume line?

 

Check the other vacuum lines too as any leak in the system can keep the CC from getting enough to hold itself in place.

 

well finaly got around to looking at the CC and I found the issue. seems as if a stone flew into the plastic box mounted on the lower inner fender just in front of the driver side tire caught a rock and cracked the box. tried sealing the box but didnt wait for the glue to dry and didnt work. but I bypassed the box and ran the line straight to the CC thinger ma-bob (the thing with the cable to the TB)

 

is that box by the driver side front tire at all nessicary? cause i was looking at mine today wondering if i coudl just bypass it and rip it outa there? (i wana put somthing else in its place lol)

 

yeah I dont think it is nessasary, I Bypassed mine and CC still works. I think maybe it to create some volume to make the CC run smoother, Not sure but mine works fine without it.
