as far as the wiring to the gauge cluster goes it might need redone i dont know how everything exactly works together but the stand alone should have certain connection harnesses available for it or maybe u could see about getting a custom made one. Its not too uncommon of a request for the aftermark...

you *can* put the 420a from the eclipse/talon in the neon, but its kinda pointless.. theres more room for a turbo in the back of the engine bay than there is in the front.
sure you could go standalone.. but lets think about this now. standalone- easily $1200 and up. add in 4g63t motor, cutting, welding, whatever else needs done to get it to fit.. another.. 3 grand easy? for that 4 grand you coulda built a pretty healthy 2.0 turbo dohc![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
and thats just trying to keep it fwd. making it awd is a completely nother story.. expect to spend 30 grand or more on that job.
now, srt4 swap into a 1st gen. this can be, and is being done. the major problem is that the srt4s electronics, dont work with the 1g guage cluster or ecu. the srt4s crank trigger is different than the 1g, so thats why it doesnt work.
