1st gen. short shifter
Hey I recently bought a new short shifter online and was wondering of how to install it. If anyone has the info. on how to i would deeply appreciate it.

Off the top of my head...
*pull down the shifter boot
*pry legs away from shifter to remove ****
*remove console (4 screws in the storage area, 2 in the cupholders, 2 above the cupholder)
*pull the parking brake all the way up and remove console
*disconnect the gear cables
*remove 4 retaining nuts from shifter
Install would be the opposite of removal.
*pull down the shifter boot
