Default Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing !!

Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing, can I bypass the old wire from the power control to the fuel pump? Any ideas what it can be?

sure you can just bypass it

my idea is you have an abnormally high amount of current going through the circuit

I'm thinking the power wire from the fuse back has a short and is killing the fuse. I think I'll test it tomorrow with the multi meter to see if the current is open or not. Going to test it from the pump end.

i think your right. but it's pretty rare for that to just magically happen without some event taking place to mess it up.. like some rookie hacking in a stereo or doing some off-roading

Check the down stream o2 sensor that has a tendancy to melt and ground out on the exhaust

Just got around to checking it today. Started with the O2 sensor as recomended by DOHCgarrett t3. Guess what I found skined up bare wires taped them up and put a fuse in and it fired right up. Thanks a bunch I would have wasted alot of time trying to find that. Going to do a good fix on it before I start driving it.
