ive got a 235000km engine, and a tranny with same amount of kms. the transmission pin is going and the motor is burning oil. where can i buy a decent transmission and engine for a reasonable price.

 

I'd get a contact just across the border. I'd ship my spare, but going international with an 88lbs box is going to be expensive.

 

any suggestions as to what site or place i should look?

 

i got a engin and tranny and everything wireharnes and computer the whole 9 yards everything has 110xxx on it i only want 100 it has a sohc head on it needs cleaned and put back on but the motor has new main bearings and forged pistons and rings

i live in oregon dont know if thats close to where you live....lol

 

why not just get another car and use yours for parts as needed?

I just bought 4 neons on craigslist in the past 2 days. all ran and drove but need some repairs total investment $900 for 4 cars. (2 need head gaskets, one needs a good cleaning and tires and one is a driver but little dinged up. 2 are auto sohc, one is dohc auto and one is sohc stick)

point is probably cheaper to just find another car.
