Default 1998 neon SRT4

I'm looking at building my own SRT4. I've recently aquired a nice 2dr neon with a bad engine to put a 2.4 in that I built in school. I heard that I'm probably going to have some wiring problems anyone one know what I might be facing?. The 2.4 I built is 10.8:1 compression, I've got Brian Crower cams, Eagle rods, JE pistons. I also picked up a custom flashed PCM.

Got it all figured out thank's to the Neons.org web site. Now I need to find a DOHC hood cuz the stock hood doesn't clear the intake cam.

Is this going to be an engine only or are you going to turbocharge it?

all motor, I can't put a turbo on a 10.8:1 compresssion engine. I got the motor in the car last night. I've got most of the wiring figured out. I need to find a hood that will clear the cam sprockets. The stock flat hood doesn't clear.

That is exactly what I was going to say. Was making sure. Should be an interesting ride once it is all put together. VIS makes a carbon fiber SRT style hood that might work or I am sure you can find a non carbon fiber SRT style hood also.

I wonder if the DOHC neon sport hood will fit? I hate to spend the money unless I know. I started the car today and it sounds quite stout. Was there ever a factory limited slip diff?

The only car with limited slip diff was the SRT-4 starting in 2004. You could always put one in though.

How are you doing the exhaust? What type of exhaust manifold are you using?
