hard shifts

97 neon stick 2.0

The past two days i have had some trouble shifting in to 2nd grear.
Its not all the time it happens randomly.

Same problem with reverse. It happens more infrequently with reverse.

Please help......

Check shift linkage bushings and linkage.

Yeah, Check the Shift Linkage on top of the Trans. Try Spray some WD-40 and White Grease on it.
