Ehh. sounds kinda involved. I just ended up spraying the **** outta it. and shoved rags down there and cleaned It as best I could. also cleaned the iat thing that's on the mani. and it still revs on me. seems like only when its warmed up. oh and I noticed that my exhaust mani has like a 2-2.5 inch crack in it? not sure how deep but its by the o2. could this be causing the reving??

Vehicle speed sensors. Usually effects manuals when coming to a stop. Usually makes the idle lower then it should be. I am sticking to my guns with a vacuum leak or bad Idle Air Control valve. The valve meters how much air is let into the motor to achieve the desired idle. Vacuum leak will make the car rev up also. A vacuum leak causes the air to bypass the throttle body, making the engine rev up like your pushing the gas. The idle may never be consistent because the Idle Air Control valve is trying to get it back to normal but is having a hard time. I would start with a vacuum or smoke tester, then throw in a used IAC sensor if you find no leaks. Be sure to have the key in the "on" postilion when testing vacuum.
