Usually by the time an SRT swap is done and complete, you're better off just buying an SRT. Don't know about a standard 2.4 swap. Not sure what all is required for that.

The 2.0 and 2.4 have the same head. The difference is the block. You get added torque with the 2.4 and can be modded more to get more power out of it.

Is it worth it? That's up to you. What is your budget and HP goal for the car?

I would personally get a 2.4 and build it up with SRT-4 internals. It is much easier to swap in the 2.4 than the SRT-4 engine. You can run the 2.4 with your stock PCM (with some work) as opposed to getting an SRT-4 PCM that hasn't seen sentry or upgrading to a Stage 1 PCM.

The AF/x race PCM would be the best one to use. Second would be the AF/x Street PCM and then the Mopar Performance PCM. These are all discontinued, so you will have to search forums to find a used one.
