Default How should I build a NA race motor

What does it take to build a high rpm 200 hp 2.0 DOHC motor? I'm thinking Cold intake, ATX throttle body, milled head (.30?), pistons, con rods, header, exhaust, cams and springs. probably aluminum flywheel too? Already planning on a good tune. Port and polish too?

Is this setup gonna get me there? What brands/types should I use as far as cams, springs, rods, and pistons.

Has to be NA for the class too... so no turbo

Why 200hp?

Your question is a bit on the vague side. Are you talking about making this power at the crank, or to the wheels? There is a difference.

A atx throttle body is too small IMO for such a build plan.

There is a list on the big org of many the have built neons that have exceeded the 200whp mark.

You will need to add a ported intake manifold/AMM intake manifold to your list, with a 60mm tb to you list, and high compression pistons. The aluminum flywheel is not necessary. Do do some research.
