Replaced fuse..then...
I recently bought a 98 neon and I realized that the dash lights wern't working. I figured it was a fuse, and it was, so I replaced it and all was good again for about a few hours until I tried to start my car and found out that the battery was dead. I didn't know what to think so I took out the fuse and charged the battery. The next morning the battery was dead again. I can't understand why it keeps dying like this now. I'd appreciate any suggestions as to why this is happening (i'm a car dummy). Thanks.

Bad battery? They don't last forever, particularly after they've been drained... Anything plugged into the cigar lighter? It's a constant on, doesn't shut off when you turn the car off. Any aftermarket lighting or audio parts? Could be drawing directly from the battery as well.
Best of luck!

no if you pulled the face for the deck it shoudnt be a prob they draw about .10 A unless there is a prob with it then the draw could be considerably more, you said your a "car dummy" so get it started and take it to a parts store they sould be able to load test the battery for you to tell you if your battery is shot of if your prob is elsewhere another thing it could be is your alternator if your battery has been bad for a while
