got a 98 neon expresso

i have a weird noise coming from the right rear tire. its not the struts, although those are getting old.

its almost a grinding/whining when driving, but not a constant noise, seems worse on a left turn. i have allready checked the bearing hub assembly for any play at all and did not find even the slightest budge in slop as i call it.

i had to back off the e-brake shoes as they seemed to be rubbing hard and that helped with the grinding, but im really starting to question the calipers/rotors. i had to replace the front rotors this summer as they stuck on me. wondering if the rear ones are starting to do the same now.

What about the strut mounts? How do they look?

 

Ya know. I forgot to check those. I plan to do the brakes anyways now since ive had the car 4yrs n never touched the rear brakes
