ok so what exactly do you mean by "I did a voltage test on the coil and i am not getting any voltage into the coil"
did you chech the coil resistance while it was off of the car? or did you chech the connector to the coil while cranking to see if it was getting a signal? becaus i had the connector go bad on me before.

I have a voltage meter and i put positve end in middle prong of the connector for the coil while the engine was on....but i didnt do it while it was cranking.....
Where are the missing links and the fusible links on my neon...want to know if they could be a part of it?

using a test light connected to the positive battery terminal probe the two wires for the coil pack ( dark blue /tan black/ grey)while a friend cranks the engine DO NOT TOUCH THE DARK GREEN/ ORANGE WIRE OR YOU COUD DAMAGE THE PCM. while cranking the test light should blink rapidly, if there is no flashing the computer (PCM) is probibly shot but i would trace the wires back to the pcm and retest them there to see if there is a break in the wires.

i have the same problem. wouldnt start, no spark. i did everything i could, changed everything. i finally broke down and took it to a shop. is your car reading code 11? well good luck i had hell with it.
I have a flashing check engine light but i havent got a code reader to check it......What was the problem with your neon...yeah im about ready to take mine to a shop but it wont start to get it there and my other car is a BMW and it doesnt have a tow hitch(hahaha yeah right) Im getting a new wiring harness for my car...and maybe a new PDC...
well my car is still in the shop right now so i still dont know what it was. i changed everything i could the crank sensor, cam sensor, timing belt, coil pack, harness, pcm, map/ait sensor just about everthing that controls the ignition. 275 dollar coputer didnt fix it.... you can read the codes off the check engine light. turn the key on, off, on, off, then on and count the flashes. it should flash one digit then pause and flash the other digit. a long pause will be between each code..... code 55 is just the "end of codes" code. mine read code eleven, which is basicly a loss of crank sensor, cam sensor, or slipped timing belt. but i changed them all and it still read it. the guy working on it hasnt had time to work on it just yet but he probably will start on it tomorow so when, or 'if' it gets fixed i will tell you what it was. good luck
