Default dome light!

so stupid question. but i cant seem to find a fuse for the dome light in my neon. what fuse is it on? i was changing the dome light and accidently pushed up on the housing and it looks like the red wire hit the metal sparked and dead. i pulled all the fuses i thought it would be on and none were bad. so could i have blownout my headlight switch?

You just answered your own question. The PINK wire supplies power to both the dome and the radio. When you shorted it out, both were affected. The light in your trunk also should be out too - if you have a light in your trunk.

The fuse is under the hood, I just replaced mine. I checked every fuse on the dash, all were fine, replaced the light it self and then I realized there is another fusebox under the hood, that was the culprit.

4 clips - 2 on each side hold it to the plastic frame that is above the liner. Just use a small thin bladed screwdriver to gently pop it off.
