Default Turbo my dohc

Found a srt4 locally that guy is parting out. What all will I need to make the turbo fit my 97 dohc atx? I'm assuming turbo exhaust and PCM. How are the stock injectors in the dohc? And how many psi does the srt4 run I'm not trying to fry pistons

Is the atx capable of holding more power? I don't mean 300 or more but a reasonable amount of hp?

You will need ALOT of stuff for the srt-4 swap, just about everything. Including the interior wiring and electronics. I dont have the complete list, buts its hard. The ATX trans will not hold 300whp. It will need to be built, alot. Plus a TC that can handle the power. Not worth the money IMO. If you have a DOHC motor the srt-4 turbofold and downpipe will bolt up to the car. Along with some of the intercooler kit and lines. Stock trans should hold up to 200whp or so, but not sure how long it will last on it.

How many psi is the stock dohc good for? I just plan on putting the turbo on the dohc that's in my neon. It's got low miles

Are you trying to swap in the whole motor or just use the turbo? If just using the turbo, the manifold bolts right up the the DOHC head. You will need more than just that but its a start. The stock SRT4 turbo is good for about 8-10 psi. Your current engine, if it has good compression on all 4 cylinders, will be fine.
