I used to know the codes but I dont have the list anymore, you can try to google it or call a dodge dealership. I am not aware of any lists for the ecu part numbers.

I found this on .org:

Here's how it goes, if you have a 95 or 96 you have to get that year pcm. If you have a 97-99, you can get any comp from those years under one constraint. If you have an atx car you need an atx PCM same goes for the mtx. This is also true for 95 and 96. For deciding between sohc or dohc, it doesn't matter, I have a sohc car with a dohc computer. Car runs great.

So, if this is true, I have nooooooo clues at all hehe.

I will put it back next week, and maby it has forgot all its bad manners

Have the dohc pcm back in, same issues.

Just read on a Chalenger forum, that slow return idle whas common om modern chalengers. If some exhaust tuning whas done, it sometimes got worse.
The slow down idling whas do to emision regulations. When the throttle plate blocked to fast, it would run to rich for a moment. My idling behaves just like that. Now have no cat, and maby its not enough backpressure?
If its do to emission when driving, I can see the conection of speed sensor and iac.
