Smile 95 dodge neon

can someone tell what to do my engine coolant thing that tells you that it over heated or cool is there a fuse for it....

The temperature gauge? What about it, exactly? It consists of the gauge, the sensor and the wiring between the two.

yeah the temp gague is not workin what could be wrong

First off is the vehicle full of coolant? Second inspect the wires for the coolant temp sensor. There is not much to the system, usually its a faulty sensor. You could test the wires, or maybe try to unplug it and see if the gauge changes to help narrow it down.

where do i locate the wire's for the sensor cooliant so we can test it and i also want to say ty for your help

Lets back up. Is the coolant full? Are you sure the car isn't overheating? Do the fans work? Does the gauge read high even when the car is cold? The 95 model was known for headgasket issues. The coolant temp sensor is next to the cam sensor. Its located on the drivers side of the engine, on the head. Photo:

the gague dosent move at all and yes the coolent is full so i dont know why it's not working
