is it possible to remove the turbo and replace it with a higher compression pistons and have the car right good has a non tagged racecar

 

You can replaced the turbo with a supercharger... Pistons are a whole 'nother thing.

Yeah, you can do all sorts of things to the engine and keep it N/A. You can raise the compression, add cams, adjust timing, change injectors and so on, like any other car. You just might need a new engine management system depending what you do.

I assume your talking about the 2.4 engine?? srt-4 or na? Whats it tuned on? I need more details. If your talking about the 2.4 dohc then the crank will interchange. Stroke is the same.
