Question Engine Hoist anchor locations

Hi, all.

I have a 98 RT and am working to pull the engine/tranny. Everything is ready to go (ie. disconnected/drained/pulled aside/etc) but I'm not sure where the safest place is to anchor the chain for the engine hoist. I read this:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ake-a-nap.html

but it only says, "Bolt chain to back of block". This seems very open-ended to me. Maybe it's meant to be open-ended because it isn't important. You tell me. I also see, "Loop other side of motor chain threw middle two intake manifold runners and stick bolt threw chain." I took the intake manifold off so I could get the heater hoses out of the way. Do I need to put it back on and loop the chain through the middle two ports? I think that's what this is saying, but I don't want to bust the manifold by putting all that weight on it.

Has anyone removed the engine before who could specifically tell me where to anchor the chains? I've learned my way around this engine bay pretty well so be as specific as you want. Also, pictures would be fantastic, if you have them.

Thanks in advance.

Hope this helps. I never say anchor points on my 2000.

This video goes from having no chains attached at ~5:50 to suddenly having chains on at ~6:00. However, I can't see where the chains are attached at.

I have always removed the exhaust manifold and set the chain on a manifold bolt and bolted it on using a manifold nut and the other side of the chain I pull the tyranny bolt out right below the throttle body and then put the chain there. I done it that way about 50 times now.

Default Pulling an engine

I leave both intake and exhaust manifolds on the engine and use them to secure chains/straps.
