Default Door panel

Ok, so I was trying to take the door panel off of the front door to get to the speaker. Before I figured out how to do it, I used a screw driver to pry off the piece of carpeted wood that's just above the arm rest. I can't get it to go back on and stay on tight. How do I do it?

Thanks in advance.

if the door panel is off already there are a series of metal clips on the back of the carpet i think, insert em into the holes in the panel, and bend em over, should be good to go. if you broke em, try gorilla glue, or silicone to adhear it to the panel. good luck. if you need to take the panel off, for future refference, use a set of needle nose plyers and grab the plastic clips one by on to sepperate them from the dorr itself making sure they do not break, or they make a special tool that works quite well.

you will need to take the panel off to get the carpet back on tho. so be carefull not to break the stupid interior door handle or the plastic retainers.

the Jesus clip?? The clip on the window handle? Use a rag or a knife to pop off the horseshoe clip

^x2 or use a flat head screwdriver and turn it sideways and undo the clip. they make a special tool for that also, i have one, if you were local, i would lend it to ya.

Use a rag, wrap it behind the handle and wiggle it up and down, it will grab onto the ends of the clip and pop it out. To reinstall the handle, just put the clip on the handle, slide the handle onto the shaft *** far as it will go, then give it a good hit with your hand and it will pop into place.
