Has anyone ever heard of these chips that get you + 20 hp? do they make a noticable difference? I found them on ebay for like 10 bucks. installs in your IAT sensor

 

Garbage, they do nothing.

 

^^x2 they are just a resistor that radio shack has for like 2 bucks. i forget the specifics on em, but they are useless. i was interested in them for a bit, until i did some research on them and found "the truth" keep diggin around, youll find all the info on em.

 

The initial idea is great, tell the PCM its getting colder air than it really is, hence it drops more fuel to compensate, hence more power. The problem being is that the O2 sensor sees that more fuel as a rich condition and leans it right back out. If you are lucky and just reset your PCM, you might get a HP or 2 for about 30 seconds, lol

where is the IAT sensor anywayz

 

Its in the middle space of your intake manifold ( one space right of your oil stick) its a small black object, For some models the IAT and MAP sensor are put together.

 

Considering it's an intake sensor, it's on your intake manifold. 95 neons had seperate IAT and MAP sensors, 96-99 have a combined one.
