Its from the base on speaker its when radio is powered on... It is a technical issue rude comments are not needed.

he's not talking about your skull, he's talking about the headunit. That's what the actual unit is called, take it easy.

There could be some feedback or a short. Check the wiring behind the unit to see of the wiring was done properly or if there is any exposed wiring. Also, be very sure that the unit is grounded properly to a piece of metal, you might have to do some digging as most cars these days have lots of plastic parts.

highline95jl Im sorry i didn't know you that it was called a head my apologies.

Hmm The wires look ok, Just want to ask you all about the ground tho?

All i see is a steel wire with ring screwed into the back of radio. I'm guessing its the ground.

I will look at the speaker wires as well might be somthing there just let me know if thats the

only grounding wire?

OK i took a look at the radio wiring again....

It seems the Pink wire was fried out so then ran a splice to the 10a fuse in the box.

Is this my issue??? Also i knotice that the clock and presets are not keeping???

when the clock settings are not keeping, the power is being interrupted or there's a short. The ground could be your issue. To answer your question, yes the black wire with the ring on it is the ground. If the wire is fried, as in burned, then I'm sorry to say but you may have just screwed up the radio. The ground should always be connected first to a metal surface. It has to be screwed into something, even if you have to go all the way to your frame or the ground (black) wire on your battery. I just pulled off my console and wired it to my frame. There was an existing screw hole just to the right of my gas pedal and I just popped it in there. You can pick up a new wiring harness at most auto stores that are made specifically for your car. It's just so you don't have to keep cutting the wires in your car, you can just cut the new ones. It plugs into the existing connections and you can splice what you need. Be sure to tape off all of the exposed wiring as that can cause MAJOR problems; do it properly with electrical tape. Check the connections on all of your wiring, including your speakers. Give that a go and get back to us.

Yah the ground was connected before i plugged anything in. The radio works just when you turn the car on you get this Thump... The ground is connected to frame speaker wires are ok 1 have 1 blown speaker but its not the issue i just changed it and same results. I can just deal with it for now i guess but the wire harness you said i can get where is the other end connected to by the fire wall???
