Default Help with new Gauge face

Ok so I got this Indigo lights, and installed them today. Well I left the old face plate on under them, because I thought I was supposed to. Well the needles don't move, they do kinda, but I have to push on the dash to get them to where they are supposed to be. My speedometer does not move at all, they are lined up, and the needles are on good. My friend that helped me, said that the new face was bowed when it came in the box, and thats the prob that they are not flat yet. Once they sit in there, and flaten out they will start moving. It's all done correctly, just the needles don't move by themselves. Any ideas?

You are gonna need to take it back apart and use some type of glue on the back of the faces. I used elmers water soluble glue in case I wanted to take them back off without ruining my stocks. You can use any thin glue though.

Not that I know of, I have had mine on for almost 2 years now with elmers glue and everything works fine. Thats why I used elmers, it comes off with a hot wash cloth.

Double sided?? Won't that create a space between the new and old though??? I was thinking of taping the corners down, becuase when I push both corners the gauges move fine.

You can do it however you want, but you need something to hold the faces down. There is double sided tape that is very thin. The stuff with foam in the middle will not work. There is very little clearance between the needles and face as you have figured out.
