Who wired it? That should not happen unless something was not wired in that should have been.

The disclaimer reads: Professional Installation Reccommended! I'm just giving you a hard time... so your starter is clicking.... I might be shooting in the dark, but could it be the solenoid?

Also Code 12 just means that the battery connection to your computer has been disconnected within the last 50 times you've turned on your car. Probably when you reset your computer to put the remote starter on!

why would u have to reset the computer when putting a remote start in? how did you make your connections to the ignition wires solder or just twist? could you have cut deep into your starter wire to where it has enough connection to click the starter but dossent allow enough current to actually start it? what system did you install

The PCM will reset if the battery is disconnected for say 15-30 minutes, you have to disconnect the battery longer than that to install the remote starter, hence the PCM is reset. A good general rule of thumb is if it was working before you touched it and now it isn't you broke it, lol. Check over all of your connections and make sure everything is right.

you dont have to unhook the battery to do a starter,just watch out when tapping the 12v , and yes i know if its unhooked for 30 minutes itll reset
