r/t neons and 1/4 mile times
The R/T model was not available until the 1998 model year.
I can tell you the differences between the '95 Sport and the '98/'99 R/T's though...
- Your car has the 132 HP SOHC engine. All R/T's have the 150 HP DOHC engine.
- Your car has a 3.55 final drive ratio. All R/T's have a 3.94 final drive and a shorter 5th gear.
- Your car and the R/T have the same suspension - same struts (stiffer), same springs (150/120), same sways (22/16).
- Your car and the R/T have the same 16:1 power steering rack.
- Your seats are the same as in the Highline. The R/T got a little more bolstering and a different pattern.
- Your car and the R/T both have 5-lug 14x6" alloy wheels, but different designs.
- The R/T got some interior refinements, like a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****, available sunroof, available R/T stripes, available power windows, locks, and mirrors.
Expect to run very low 16's or high 15's in the 1/4 at sea level in a full interior, cleaned out car.

i think stock its 15.2 if your doing 14.5 stock you must have the upgraded muffler bearings and high performance headlights oh and that big clock you guys call a tack too. go talk to some a**hole kid who actually belives you cause i bet a lot of us dont. 14.3 on slicks is pretty good no turbo or nothing just had underdrive pulley, ecu, solid mounts, lowering springs, header, bigger tb,iceman, perf clutch, and a tr&d muffler my old car was pretty quick for just a neon but 14.5 stock not even close with a tail wind!!!! the sad thing is my wifes car beat the hell out of it stock a 05 accord 2 door 6cyl 6 speed but of course to you thats a 12 sec car

python bunny your wifes car might be able to take my neon but i would let u put a turbo and nos in ur neon and i would still beat you in my camaro the only car i would lose to on here in my camaro would be the guy who has the 71 roadrunner
buddy of mine has a neon that will smoke the hell outa the camaro and the roadrunner....but that neon doesnt count so..oh well..just thought that i would put that in here
