I think the jeep 3.0 TB is 60 mm, not 52mm like the atx. This is why the slight, inexpensive, mods to make it work are worth the money.

But a 60MM TB w/o any supporting mods can actually hurt performance.

Absolutely no argument or discussion needed for that. You are correct. However, based on this post, I do not know what mods have, or have not been made. I was just pointing out that the Jeep TB was not 52MM like the atx. And yes I have micro'ed a 3.0 TB at 60MM, straight out of the junk yard.

We cannot build or mod a car for people on the forum, only provide them with information about how to do it themselves. But when we provide that information, we are morally obligated to insure that the information is factual to the best of our knowledge. There is nothing worse than delving into the unknown, and enlisting helpful information on the net, just to find out the help you received isn't worth a damn. Especially if it cost someone $$$ or physical harm.

So with that being said, it seems we have both acheived that goal, as both comments are very valid. Thanks for your input and comment as you may have saved this person some money that need not be spent at this time.

96-2001 Cherokee or Grand Cherokee with a 4.0L inline 6 cylinder engine and an ATX for the 60 mm TB. Good luck with it, it won't be easy! Have fun fabbing up the new mounting bracket.

The ATX one is 60mm, the MTX is 56mm.

Depends on other mods, but with the mods you have listed in your sig not much. Maybe 2-4HP...
