RE: catalitic converter
you don't really need your downstream O2 sensor( unless you live in a state where emissions are checked), all that one does is check how the cat is doing and it isn't inside your cat it's just before it. your front one( located on the header) is the one you really need. removing your downstream O2 will cause your cell to through a 21 which basically means one of your O2 sensors are bad. if your worried about passing your states emissions and don't want the cel to through a code then you can by the a downstream eliminator which tricks the pcm to think that there is one actually there, it also will stop the cel from coming on( due to the missing O2 sensor) howellautomotive sells them hope some of that was helpfull good luck !!

i took mine out, the only thing that you really notice is how much louder it is....i welded a piece of pipe in place of the cat...then bought an o2 fitting from ebay...drilled a hole in the pipe and welded the fitting on there..that way the sensor is still there...you can find them in jegs under o2 sensor bung........but removing the cat doesnt make a whole bunch of difference

I read some comments on here where it really don`t do any good to remove the cat. Am I wasting my time? Thanks for all the previous replys
