They didnt come with instructions? I am guessing it has a positive and ground, ground it out anywhere close that you are able to and the positive I am assuming you would hook to the dimmer switch or tie into the wire going to the stock gauges to dim them. hope this helps some.

I forgot the colors of the wires, but you have to tap into the interior light switch. The one for the dome light and dimmer. I think one of them is yellow & black.

You gotta go under the dash, by the pedals and look for the wires. Not in the cluster!

It should be right up under the dash on the left side, like das said its a yellow and black wire (use a test light to confirm this) its a wire that comes from the switch on your headlight switch... check which wire comes on when parking lights and headlights are both on and dims when you turn it down. I'm not too familiar with the wiring in a neon yet, have only installed a stereo system in mine so far.. I know that its not too hard to do tho, its the same wire I used for the tach in my Shadow.

if you want to give in and buy a hayes manual for your car, it will have all the wiring diagrams in there so you know what is what. and nope, i have no idea what color the dimmer wire is in all that mess. (a circuit tester may also be a good in this situation to figure out wiring)
