Probably around 7 seconds. The SOHC can do it in 8.

7 may be generous, i would also take into consideration the age of the vehicle in question.

A 98 R/T is about 8 years old now. That's what he is referring to. It's not right off the assembly line. But I think an R/T that has ben taken care of and is still stock can go from 0-60 in 7 seconds.

my friend has a 95 sohc with the same exhaust set up and a cooler air filter, without ac and i have the exact same thing, (both autos) and i smoke him off the line and anywhere else for that matter, im guessing mine has been taken care of and driven nicely (before i got 'er) depending on how much of a beating the motor has taken will determine how well it runs in its long life. Just my two cents!

yup, definatley depends on the care factor and milage on the motor and such. everything from the tires to the ability of teh engine to still get top notch compression. as motors age, they lose considerable amounts of power.

If your talking about the stock 0-60 MPH time when new, it was 7.5 seconds.
