aye aye aye... well today when i was going about 20MPH around a tight corner the front end popped... and then when i was driving through a abandended parking lot i was going about 30mph and all the sudden i heard the popping sound again. at first i thought it was the CV boots being bad but then when it happened in the parking lot i began to think what if one of the transaxles are damaged. we have a Subaru and the front axles were bad on it and when we would take tight corners are speed it would pop and then sometimes it would pop under high pressure while accelerating... do u think it could be the CV-joints or boots or axle? or something completely different. the boots are the ones that came from the factory and that was 232,000 miles ago.

 

The boots wouldn't make a noise if they are worn, but the joints will. Probably your joints.
