In order for you to experience Hydrolock on your car, you would have to be in 3 - 4 feet of water. If its just raining outside and your driving it wont hurt anything. The bypass valve is a waste of 60 bucks. The engine doesnt pull *that* much air that you need to put one on it.

That isn't true...I know a guy who got his engine locked up when someone drove by him in the opposite direction, splashed and flooded his engine. The pistons looked like pieces of legos.
