I just sent you a message to your email. Can you tell me if you got it to stop overheating and if so how? I didnt quite understand the radiator thing or even know where its located. Its blowing white smoke and recently started to overheat.
thanks,
April
open your hood. while you're standing infront of the plate you will see two things.
(2)against the back wall, close to your windshield on the lefthand side, there is a white plastic tank. on the left side you will see fill marks. when the motor is cold fill it up to the FULL line. start the motor and let it run untill the level drops, keep adding coolant (the guys at the local parts store will help you out) untill the coolant stops falling.
(1) a shiny silver cap that you will have to press down and turn to get off, (WHILE THE MOTOR IS COLD TO THE TOUCH) you should see a green liquid filled up to the top of the rim. if not, fill it up to the top and do step (2) above. this will get you going, untill you find out wat's what. check for leaking black hoses going to the front of your car. you can ask some friends at work for help while you are watching the temp guage. good luck.
It will run fine till it either gels up and clogs the system or in winter it will freeze and crack your block. So it may seem to run fine, but go to you parts store and buy an anti freeze tester and post the results.
