Yes! You have to go around the MAP sensor somehow.

 

Do you have to use the AOBE whan you turbo a 99 dohc motor? I used the sensers from the 99 motor.or is there a performance computer that i con use

 

You have to use the AOBE, map clamp, or a missing link to go around the MAP sensor if you are using the stock PCM. The stock PCM CANNOT see boost. Aftermarket PCM's advance timing which is bad on a turbo car. I already said this...Most people who do the SRT engine swap just go with a Stage 1 PCM that hasn't seen the Sentry.
