should be useable, as long as they are speaker wires, if they dont reach, just extend them

Good Idea, ive ripped up the back carpet once and saw something but was protected by plastic, I think the speakers run on the top side like the trunk light does I could be wrong, but the manual should be able to clear it up

if the wires run ontop of the rear deck then they should be the speaker wires, the only other ones that run ontop of there should be the trunk light, but that one should be in a plastic sleeve

Speaking of the black tape. Does it look to you as if its hockey stick tape. Like the same kind of material. BEcuase mine sure looks like it, and its over the entire electrical system. Kinda cheap if you ask me.

When i changed my speakers the wires were on the inside of the trunk. There should be two plugs that go in the back of your speakers.
Youll have to cut the plugs off and strip the wires. Then you shough be able to wire them to just about anything.
I left the carpet in mine i just cut holes and put the covers over top of the speakers it looks awsome I think.
Ill try to post a pic.
